Westfair Swim FAQs ─ What You Need to Know

Answer: Proof of Vaccination:  All participants will be required to show either proof of being fully COVID vaccinated; proof of negative results of PCR test administered no more than 72 hours of class; or fully recovered from previous infection of COVID-19 and proof of a positive test within 90 days of class.  To be considered fully vaccinated, you must be ≥2 weeks following receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine.

Answer: In the state of New York, CPR is valid for lifeguards and camp staff for one year only. Generally, it is valid for two years.

Answer: Lifeguard certification is good for 2 years.

Westfair Swim Camp was terrific! We originally enrolled for just 3 weeks but ultimately decided to extend for the full 5 weeks. My 5 yo twins truly enjoyed the camp. It was well organized and had a good mix of swimming instruction and summer camp activities.
